How to Join

one meaningful first step is enough. here's how to share yours.

01 - Find Your Courage

Think of something you've always wanted to do but never dared to try. What's one small step you could take to begin? "I've always wanted to _____, and my first step is _____."

02 - Film your first step

Record a 30–120 seconds vertical video showing what you did to begin. You don't need to finish your goal.

A meaningful first step doesn't require an extreme sport or dangerous stunt. Here's what else to know before you enter.

Who can enter?

Adults 18 or older.

Which platforms can I use?

Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts or Facebook, subject to the confirmed rules. Your post must be public.

Is using the hashtag enough?

No. Include #couragecharge and the required TESSAN tag, then submit the direct post link on this page by the deadline.

Do I need to finish my goal?

No. Show the first step you take toward it in an original 30–120 seconds vertical video.

How are Grand Prize winners chosen?

Judges consider meaning, authenticity, action taken, and clarity of story. Full criteria and process are in the Official Rules.

What rewards can I receive?

Every eligible entrant will receive a reward:

  • 3 Grand Prize Winners: 1 iPhone 18 pro 256G each
  • 20 Community Prize Winners: 1 TESSAN AERO70 each
  • All Other Eligible Entrants: A TESSAN gift voucher worth up to $50

When will winners be announced?

December 11, 2026, through the TESSAN official social channel like Tiktok, Facebook, Instagram and official blog.

Official Rules

1. Eligibility & Entry Period: Open to individuals aged 18 or older. No purchase necessary. Entries close on December 4, 2026, at 11:59 PM EST.

2. How to Enter: Follow the campaign’s submission instructions, including applicable social media posting, hashtag, and website submission requirements. Entries must be original and comply with these rules. Ineligible, incomplete, or unauthorized entries may be disqualified.

3. Judging Criteria: Eligible entries will be scored based on theme and personal meaning (40%), authenticity and originality (30%), storytelling and clarity (20%), and taking action and inspiring others (10%). Authenticity and personal meaning matter more than production quality. Likes, comments, and shares do not count toward scores.

4. Prizes: Three Grand Prize winners will each receive one iPhone 18 Pro (256GB). Twenty Community Prize winners will each receive one TESSAN AERO70 (valued at $119). All other eligible entrants will receive one TESSAN gift voucher worth $5–$50. Vouchers will be emailed after the campaign ends and remain valid for three months. Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

5. Winner Selection & Notification: All entries are subject to eligibility and compliance checks before scoring. The top 10 ranked entries will be reviewed by Jamie Leibert, who will select the three Grand Prize winners. Remaining eligible entries will retain their scoring-based ranking for Community Prizes and gift vouchers. Winners will be notified by email and must respond within seven days or forfeit their prize. 6. Content Usage: By entering, you grant TESSAN permission to share, repost, display, and feature your submitted content on TESSAN’s official social media channels for promotional and campaign-related purposes. You confirm that you own the content or have obtained all necessary rights and permissions. TESSAN will not materially alter the meaning of your content without your permission.

7. General Conditions: TESSAN may disqualify entries involving dangerous or illegal acts, copyright infringement, unauthorized content, false information, duplicate submissions, or manipulated engagement. TESSAN will cover applicable prize-related taxes. Prizes are not substitutable. Apple is not a sponsor of or affiliated with this promotion. Participation is subject to these rules and applicable laws.
