TESSAN provides a simple and convenient warranty service. Generally, the warranty period ranges from 12 to 24 months, depending on the specific product system.

Warranty terms may vary by model, please refer to the user manual included in your package for the exact warranty duration.

Warranty Claims for Quality-Related Issues

  • All quality-related defects on items sold directly by TESSAN or TESSAN-authorized resellers are covered by a comprehensive warranty from the date of purchase.
  • TESSAN’s limited warranty is restricted to the country of purchase. The warranty is void if the product is taken outside the original country of purchase or shipped internationally via an authorized online order.
  • Quality-related warranty claims for items purchased through TESSAN-authorized distributors and retailers (such as Walmart and Best Buy) are handled by TESSAN.
  • For quality-related warranty claims, items will be replaced with a factory-refurbished model of equal value if available; otherwise, a new item will be sent.
  • Warranties on all replacements follow the same warranty timeframe as the original defective item, or 3 months after being replaced, whichever is longer. The warranty is void once a product has been fully refunded.

The Process:

  • The buyer must provide sufficient proof of purchase.
  • TESSAN must document what happens when buyers troubleshoot the product.
  • The defective item’s serial number and/or visible evidence depicting the defect are required.
  • It may be necessary to return an item for quality inspection.
  • If the wrong item is returned or if the defective item is not returned, the replacement warranty will be void.

Valid Proof of Purchase:

  • Order number from online purchases made through TESSAN or TESSAN-authorized resellers.
  • Sales invoice.
  • Dated sales receipt from an authorized TESSAN reseller that shows a description of the product along with its price.
  • Please note that more than one type of proof of purchase may be required to process a warranty claim (such as a remittance receipt and confirmation of the address to which the item was originally shipped).
  • Warranty claims for product defects expire 90 days after opening a warranty claim. It is not possible to process a warranty claim for items that have expired their original warranty timeframe or the 90-day warranty claim request period, whichever is longer.

Shipping Costs Must Be Borne by the Buyer in the Following Situations:

  • Returning products for any reason other than a proven defect.
  • Warranty claims on items taken outside the original country of purchase.
  • Buyer’s accidental returns.
  • Returning personal items.
  • Returning items claimed to have defects but found by TESSAN Quality Control to be in working condition.
  • Returning defective items via international shipping.
  • Costs associated with unauthorized returns (any returns made outside of the approved warranty process).

Not Covered Under Warranty:

  • Products without sufficient proof of purchase.
  • Normal aging or wear and tear resulting from standard use (including battery capacity reduction over time and product color changes over time).
  • Lost or stolen products.
  • Items that have expired their warranty period.
  • Non-quality-related issues (after 30 days of purchase).
  • Free products or promotional giveaways.
  • Repairs or modifications through third parties.
  • Damage from external sources.
  • Damage from misuse of products (including, but not limited to: falls, extreme temperatures, water, operating devices improperly).
  • Purchases from unauthorized resellers.

Extended Warranty

Select products are eligible for a paid extended warranty service, which can extend the warranty period up to 30 months.

This extended warranty covers:

  • Mechanical and internal component issues.
  • Electrical failures.
  • Accidental damage, such as drops and spills.

Note: Please read the extended warranty terms, refund policy, and all relevant information carefully before purchasing.

TESSAN is Not Liable For:

  • Loss of data resulting from the use of TESSAN products.
  • Returning personal or unrelated items sent to TESSAN by mistake.
  • Return shipping costs that do not fall under TESSAN's responsibility.
  • Costs associated with unauthorized returns.
  • Any loss resulting from product misuse. In case of compensation, the amount shall not exceed the original purchase price of the product.

Important Notes:

  • The warranty policy may be updated based on legal requirements, internal company policies, or product revisions.
  • When returning items for non-quality issues, the buyer assumes responsibility for any damage or loss incurred during transit.
  • TESSAN does not provide refunds for items damaged in transit for non-quality-related warranty claims.
  • This warranty policy applies only to products purchased through official TESSAN channels. Products purchased from unauthorized dealers are not covered. TESSAN reserves the right to interpret and modify this policy.
