PerfectPerfect device
This is a well-designed power strip, or, more precisely square, my favorite among all the power strips I have. Nice look, right dimension, 8 AC outlets on 3 sides, 4 USB ports (type A and C), 5 feet extension cord, on/off switch, and wall mountable.Now, it sits on my computer desk, beside a mini-PC. However, the PC's USB ports keep on, even if I turn it off. It bothers me, as there are many devices on the USB ports, and they have LED lights. With this power strip, I just turn it off very easily, all the blue lights are gone!
Tessan Power StripI never read reviews prior to reviewing to eliminate bias and I also don’t compare with other similar items that are already established on Amazon.If I did, it would be pointless.This product is insanely good.I had a long-winded video but this platform has file limitations, which I strongly disagree with, as some things take time to explain and/or show. I take this very seriously, not because it is a "free" item but because I am probably the most thorough person I know.Either way, I included some photos (and added text within) to show some different angles for reference.I chose this power block because I needed one to manage several items and use it as a station rather than a strip to set on the floor and forget.Outlets provide resistance, meaning good contact in either 3 prong or 2 prong configurations…there are 8 of them and they are usable in my example.The flat cord length is 5’ long, has a hook and loop strap for cord management and its power supply plug fits snugly into the outlet and sits very flat.Very, very clean design.Per the manual (misspoken in video) unit has a protective shell of PC 94V0 which “makes it fireproof to 1382°F.”Also has 900 Joule surge protection.No way to test this but it feels so solid and so well constructed that I would not challenge claims.Charging speeds up to 15W. Not confirmed.Each device charged as normal, using a hodgepodge of cables.At time of review, I do not know what the listing price is, but it is ENTIRELY worth it.There may be others, but I would definitely recommend-thus the lengthy review. 5 out of 5 stars
I originally got this just to use as a power strip in a place in my house that doesn't have a lot of outlets. I wanted some extra plugs, and the cube design made it easy to get bigger power bricks into the power strip without them bumping into each other. But this also has USB ports which you can use for charging anything from your phone to your Chromebook, and these are extra nice to have as you won't need the bricks that come with your devices to take up more plug space. Charing something bigger like as Chromebook will take some extra time as it isn't a super powerful power source, but it will get the job done if you leave it alone to charge, which usually works well overnight,.
