TESSAN is a brand founded by a true traveler, with a mission of “connecting people’s journey.” Over the past ten years, we’ve embarked on a journey of our own.

In these ten years, we’ve grown from an unknown brand to a leader in the industry. From obscurity to distinction, we are proud to say that we’ve achieved things others haven’t in terms of product innovation and user experience. It’s this passion for the brand that has brought our products to every corner of the world. And we can confidently say that out of ten global travelers, at least two are using TESSAN products.

But behind all of this is our unwavering mission: “connecting people’s journey.” We see our brand and products as symbols that carry the meaning and value of a journey—companions for every step you take.

Even today, we haven’t forgotten our original intention.

Many people ask us:

Why would a hardware brand launch a global campaign about travelers?

This idea came from a moment two years ago, when we launched a new travel adapter on our social media. The campaign received a lot of attention and comments. One comment from a young user said:

"I really want to go somewhere, but I’m too scared to take the first step."

We were deeply moved by that comment.

As travelers, traveling is second nature to us. But we may have overlooked a truth:
That many people have never left the place they live—no matter how much they long to explore.

So a new idea was born.

In 2024, we launched the JUST GO BONUS program, to encourage people to take that brave first step—to go to the place they’ve always dreamed of.

This campaign received wide attention and participation. Many people who joined were supported by us and successfully embarked on their journeys.

But that’s not enough.

We want to support even more people.

We want to gather the stories of all participants and share them with others—those planning to leave, about to set off, or already on their way.

We want to spread courage through their stories, share what they’ve seen, heard, and felt, and ultimately create deeper connections.

This collective energy will carry forward the power and meaning of life’s journeys.


That’s why we’re launching the 100 TESSAN Travelers campaign.

No matter how far you travel, whether you're alone or with someone, we don’t define the journey by its format.

What we care about are the unique, personal, real stories behind every traveler—big or small.

We want to tell the story of travel itself.

To express what it really means to set off.

Ultimately, we hope that journeys will connect us.

That they will connect us to the world, to society, to those in need.

And through the connection itself, we become the person we were always meant to be.

At TESSAN, we believe that travel is more than just moving from one place to another. We believe it is a powerful tool to connect individuals, cultures, and stories — to transform not only the world, but the people within it. That belief inspired us to create the “100 Travelers” campaign.

Vision Beyond Technology

As a global leader in travel charging solutions, TESSAN empowers people to stay connected on the go. Yet, connectivity for us goes beyond chargers and cables. True connection lies in the stories travelers carry with them — the purpose, the memories, the feelings.

Our campaign aims to give voice to these stories. We set out to find 100 real travelers, from all walks of life and every corner of the world, and invite them to share their journeys. What motivates them? What challenges have they faced? Why does travel matter to them?

Why 100 Travelers?

Choosing 100 voices was a deliberate decision. It's large enough to be global and diverse, yet intimate enough to feel personal and meaningful. Each traveler's story becomes part of a collective tapestry — a shared narrative that reflects the many facets of humanity.

In inviting 100 people, we're not just launching a marketing campaign. We're building a community — a global fellowship of explorers, dreamers, healers, and storytellers. These are individuals whose journeys resonate, inspire, and connect.

Collaboration with Creators Who Understand

To truly embody the heart of this idea, we looked for partners who understood the beauty of journeys. Collaborating with people like Mattias Klum, whose photography captures the raw beauty of nature, and Rachael Yamagata, whose music reveals the emotional depth of travel, felt like a natural fit.

Their work reflects our mission: to celebrate courage, vulnerability, and connection. Through this campaign, their art amplifies the voices of the 100 travelers — turning individual journeys into shared inspiration.

Building a Platform, Not a Poll

One of our guiding principles was to avoid this becoming just a popularity contest. Instead, we are building a platform: a space where stories matter, not just numbers. Because we believe every genuine journey has value — whether it's about self-discovery, healing, or connecting to others.

That's why we provide real support: TESSAN travel kits, funding to complete journeys, and a global spotlight. We're not just asking people to tell their stories. We're helping them live them.

The campaign is just beginning. We are thrilled to embark on this journey together with every traveler who joins us. As submissions come in, stories will unfold. As we gather these voices, we hope to create something lasting — a community that remembers:

As our 100 Travelers campaign gradually unfolds, more and more people are showing strong interest in joining. In addition to understanding the format and details of the campaign, they’re also eager to learn more about TESSAN and our upcoming global initiatives — which greatly excites us.

Without a doubt, this story is about how our sincere collaboration with Rachael Yamagata came to be — from the background to the behind-the-scenes.

Behind the success of gaining Rachael’s attention and forming a smooth collaboration was someone tirelessly carrying the brand’s mission — our Head of Brand, Patrick.

As the head of branding at TESSAN, Patrick has always stayed true to our brand values. He treats “connecting people’s journey” as the ultimate mission of his career. While envisioning the 100 TESSAN Travelers campaign, he was earnestly searching for the perfect figure to represent it.

One night, while riding a taxi home from work, Patrick heard a Rachael Yamagata song playing. The familiar melody and lyrics stirred a flood of memories.

Patrick had long been a devoted fan of Rachael. He believes that many of his insights about music, life, and travel were inspired by her songs. Whether in emotional turmoil, career confusion, or the depths of loneliness, Rachael’s music accompanied him through every stage of his life. He often says she is his “soul icon.”

Sitting in that taxi with Rachael’s music playing, Patrick once again fell into deep reflection about the meaning of life’s journey. He asked himself: Why are we creating and promoting this campaign for global travelers? What makes us qualified to earn people’s trust and co-create with them? The answer came — in that very moment, through her voice.

Because we are travelers, too. Our mission is to connect people, share energy, and through that energy, build, heal, inspire, and explore. Simply put, we hope to become a faithful companion to travelers worldwide — witnessing both ordinary and extraordinary journeys. Just as Rachael’s music influenced Patrick, he felt we have both the ability and the responsibility to pass that beauty of the journey on to others.

Then, a bold idea sparked in Patrick’s mind: Could I invite Rachael to be a part of our 100 Travelers journey?

And so, a beautiful story began to unfold.

At the beginning, Rachael asked why we had chosen to collaborate with her. Patrick answered with honesty and even wrote her a heartfelt letter, sharing the strength he had drawn from her music and creative journey — strength that gave him the courage to walk into each of his own unknown paths.

He believes that travel is not defined by profession or social role. In his heart, Rachael’s pursuit of her dreams and her process of musical creation are journeys in their own right. Her years of touring across countries have left behind footprints — each telling a different story from different phases of her life.

Patrick firmly believed that Rachael is an extraordinary storyteller.

Eventually, his sincerity and actions moved Rachael. The two parties quickly finalized their collaboration and jointly launched the #What'sYourNextJourney documentary — which received wide attention and praise from users.

Most importantly, together with Rachael, we delivered the message of connecting people’s journey to our audience — and extended an invitation to travelers all over the world. These touching stories and emotions were brought to life in the documentary we co-created.

What touched us the most was when Rachael shared the intimate details of her life journey in an interview with Patrick. She spoke about her career growth, her relationships, her creative experiences, and her reflections on the ups and downs of life.

She especially shared the story behind the creation of her hit song “Elephants.” She described the inspiration as almost divine. While walking in the woods, the melody came to her. She rushed down to her cabin at the foot of the mountain, picked up a pencil, and wrote down both the melody and the lyrics — poetic and raw.

That inspiration came not only from Rachael’s experience of pain but also from the healing strength within herself. In the end, she transformed that healing power into music and shared it with others.

These stories and details clearly show Rachael’s profound understanding of the journey, as a pure musical creator. She radiates love, courage, and healing — perfectly aligned with our brand’s mission and values.

Of course, we’re not expecting every participant to create content the same way we did with Rachael. We understand that everyone has their own uniqueness, their own route, and their own storyline.

In fact, what we are most proud of are the real stories that happen to ordinary people.

In our collaboration, Rachael also spoke as an individual — sharing her insights and telling her story. She simply did so through the language of music.

Throughout this process, Rachael also came to know TESSAN more deeply — and the sincere, kind-hearted people behind the brand. There’s no doubt that TESSAN’s products are exactly what she needs.

We believe that in every cross-border journey to come, we will be there as a faithful, sincere companion — joining Rachael on her path and witnessing more moving stories together.

To be honest, we never imagined that among all the participants we've encountered, we would meet a pair of travelers as unique as this.

They are Sarah and her baby girl.

We truly believe their names will forever be written into the book of our journeys.

Not because of anything flashy—but because of Sarah's unwavering courage, her raw and stunning independence, and the depth of her thoughts and character.

We could even say that her journey has gone far beyond the common definition of travel.

We are proud to have someone like Sarah—a woman of power, grace, and conviction—among our travelers.

We first connected with Sarah a year ago, around the time we launched our #JustGo bonus campaign. By chance, we started talking—and from that first connection, the gears of our story began turning.

The more we understood each other, the deeper that connection grew.

But what truly moved us—was her story.

Three years ago, Sarah, as a single mom, set out on a round-the-world journey with her newborn baby in her arms.

And once she left, she never stopped—three years, non-stop.

This is something you don’t see often, even among global travelers.

And that's exactly why Sarah’s entire journey and spirit captivated us so deeply.

She gave us the courage and clarity to launch the #100Traveler campaign—because we wanted, more than anything, to connect with people like her.

To build a network of real travelers on the road, and turn that connection into a ripple of impact across the world—for those walking their own path, on their own terms.

Sarah is undoubtedly one of them.

We can’t even begin to imagine everything she’s been through along the way.

And when we say that, it’s not just to emphasize the challenges of being a single mother traveling the world—

It’s about the weight, the joy, the chaos, the silence, the thousands of moments that are impossible to put into words.

When we first collaborated with Sarah on content, we sent her something we’re also proud of—our travel adapter.

We’re grateful that it could offer something real: to keep her connected, powered, and supported, even in the farthest corners of the world.

It was just the beginning of how we wanted to show our care.

To be honest, we’ve been followers of Sarah ever since.

We’ve been quietly moved—again and again—by her content.

Because it’s never just about landscapes or destinations.

It’s about women. About motherhood. About communities. About children.

And all of it is wrapped in something that feels almost philosophical—something deeply responsible, deeply human.

In her storytelling, Sarah has shared moments from many countries, stories of the people she’s met, and the thoughts she’s carried through all of it.

It reminds us: yes, travel shapes us.

Sarah told us about hiking into the Himalayas—3,200 meters high—with her daughter on her back.

Anyone aged 18 or above, from any country, with a meaningful travel plan and a story to share.We’re looking for real people with a passion for connection, purpose, and impact.

Q2: Can I apply if I'm traveling with someone else?

Yes! While the campaign highlights individual stories, we welcome co-travelers or pairs — just submit one story from one perspective.

Q3: What kind of story should I submit?

It can be personal, adventurous, emotional, or mission-driven. We care more about honesty and heart than how polished it is.

Q4: Can I apply if my trip is not yet started / is in the future?

Yes. We encourage upcoming journeys — whether planned or already booked. As long as you have a clear direction and meaningful purpose, you're eligible.

Q5: Do I have to be a social media influencer or extreme traveler to apply?

Not at all. This campaign is about real stories from real people. You don't need thousands of followers or a dramatic expedition — just a genuine reason to go, and a story worth sharing.

Q5: What kind of journey is too short or too ordinary to qualify?

There's no such thing.  A 3-day solo hike can be just as powerful as a month-long volunteering trip — as long as it's meaningful to you.

Q1: Is there any cost to apply or participate?

Absolutely not. TESSAN will provide selected travellers with products, starter funds, and support — not charge fees.

Q2: What do I need to do after being selected?

You'll be expected to: 

  • Share campaign poster on social media
  • Submit a short video using your TESSAN gear
  • Promise to document your journey (3-min+ video) We'll guide you every step of the way.

Q1: What happens after I submit my application?

You'll receive a confirmation email. If shortlisted, we'll reach out with next steps — and may even feature your story on our channels.

Q2: How are the final 10 Brand Ambassadors selected?

A jury of creators, travelers, and the TESSAN team will evaluate submitted stories based on authenticity, creativity, and impact.

Q1: What will selected travelers receive?

Once you're selected and complete your social tasks (sharing the campaign poster + product video), the starter fund will be transferred digitally to your provided account.

No worries. We'll send selected travelers helpful tips and examples. We care more about honesty and heart than production quality.

Q2: Is this a marketing stunt or is it really about the travelers?
